Almost 2 years since my last journal entry. Saddness. Unforutnately I haven't picked up my camera as often as I would have liked. Lately I've been feeling a little more inspired. Anyone want me to take a picture of them?  I went to the Edmonton Art Walk today. It was pretty incredible. There are some amazing artists here in Edmonton. Further inspiration I hope. I hope one day to get the chance to take a formal photography class to start to fill in the blanks of everything I've missed out on from being self-taught. Life is going well. My classes are all fun, with the exception of French... but even it is bearable. Midterms are coming up but I'm not as worried about them as before. I have an amazing girlfriend, Bryanna. I can't wait for her to come here to Edmonton. This past thanksgiving Monday I did a photoshoot with Jane. It's been a while since the last one. I think that I've improved somewhat. At least I hope so. I'd like your feedback. My friend Noelle taught me some tricks in photoshop. Sure makes a difference. :) Hope you enjoy. Murray

When was the last time I wrote in this journal? 2004?  That's a very long time ago.  Since then, much has happened, and at the same time not much has happened.  I've finished my 2nd year of university.  Hard to believe.  Halfway done my degree.  Right now I am in La Rochelle, France.  I've been here since June 8th... ish.  Going to Paris this Friday for 3 days before I go home.  I've been taking 2 classes.  French 233 and French 499.  French 233 is a class on french culture, and french 499 is an independant project.  I did mine on the Nazi Occupation of Charente-Maritime during WWII.  It was rather interesting.  There's so much history over h
